Schedule 1 Releases New Content Update for May 2025

08/05/2025

Schedule 1 fans can look forward to brand new content as developer TVGS releases another update for the popular crime simulation. Although Schedule 1 is created and still actively developed by a single developer, it continues to release regular updates. The latest patch entered beta testing last week but has now received a full release on Steam.

The Schedule 1 Phenomenon

Shortly after entering Early Access on Steam in March, Schedule 1 experienced tremendous success, attracting nearly 460,000 concurrent players on the platform. It currently holds an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on Steam with almost 170,000 player reviews. And while players are fascinated with building their criminal empire, Schedule 1 is still an Early Access game, meaning there's still plenty of work ahead. The good news is that since its release, numerous new content updates and hotfixes have been published, with more on the horizon.

What Does Update v0.3.5 Bring?

The latest Schedule 1 update entered beta phase last week but has now received its full release on Steam. For those who didn't participate in the latest beta, there's plenty of new content to explore. The most notable addition in the v0.3.5 update is a new property in the form of a storage unit known as "Stash & Dash," which can be purchased for just $5,000 from Ray's Realty. It's easily accessible even for those still in the early stages of the game and is located across from Taco Ticklers. Not only does it have a loading ramp for deliveries, players can also hire one employee to handle all inventory management at this property.

Jukebox and Other Improvements

In addition to adding a new property for Schedule 1 players to purchase, there's also a Jukebox that can be acquired at Bleuball's Boutique for $1,500. The Jukebox can play any of the 19 tracks from the OST, as well as 8 brand new tracks composed by KAESUL. The update also includes several other minor bug fixes and improvements, such as fixing loading ramps that were undetectable at the barn and warehouse in the docks.

What to Expect in the Next Update?

Tyler, the game's creator, has also confirmed that he's working hard on the next Schedule 1 update, which will finally replace employee beds with lockers. The next update will also include item slot filters that can be used to designate which items players want for specific slots. Additionally, fans will be able to move employees between properties.

In terms of gameplay improvements and fixes, Tyler says the upcoming patch will change the trash can drop area from a circle to a square and also fix all remaining bugs in employee logic/pathfinding. The release date for the update has not yet been confirmed.

My Take on Schedule 1

As someone who has been playing Schedule 1 since day one in Early Access, I must say that the pace of updates Tyler maintains is truly admirable. For a game developed by a single person, the quality and amount of content is really impressive. Personally, I was most intrigued by the new "Stash & Dash" storage unit, which elegantly solves one of the game's biggest problems - lack of storage space in later stages.

The save game export and import function is also a welcome addition, especially for those of us who experiment with different empire-building strategies. As for the upcoming changes to the employee system, replacing beds with lockers makes much more sense from both gameplay and realism perspectives - after all, who would want their dealers sleeping right in the store?

The biggest surprise for me, however, remains how quickly the game has grown and gained popularity. Nearly half a million concurrent players is a number that not even titles from major AAA studios achieve! It's clear that the creator listens to the community and implements features that players actually want.

If you haven't tried Schedule 1 yet and enjoy simulation games with a bit of crime, I definitely recommend diving in!
