How to Get Refined Parts

Go to Highlands in Iron River

Highlands in the Iron River region is a good starting area to farm Refined Parts. It's close to Dayton Hospital in the Dayton Wetlands region and its recommended level isn't as high as the others in Iron River.

Note that this settlement is home to lots of enemies that can shoot you with their own guns, so stock up on ammunition and healing items before entering one to farm.

Look for Scrap Fine Items

Items that are prefaced by the modifiers Scrap Fine are some of the items that produce Refined Parts when scrapped at a Disassembly Bench. Search areas thoroughly to find as many of these items to turn into Refined Parts.

Other items found in areas of the levels specified above can also produce Refined Parts, so don't skimp out on collecting them while in the vicinity of the Scrap Fine items.

Once you've gathered enough items to scrap, interact with a Disassembly Bench and select these items to scrap them for Refined Parts.
