Diablo 4 Teases New Collaboration with Fantasy Candle Maker

Diablo 4 has just teased a new collaboration with Cantrip Candles, a company specializing in fantasy-themed candles. While details about this partnership are currently limited, fans can expect to learn more very soon.

Cantrip Candles is a Hollywood, California-based company that produces vegan scented candles inspired by fantasy worlds and themes. Founded by a group of tabletop RPG players, their product line includes items inspired by Dungeons and Dragons spells, items, and locations.

Now it appears Cantrip Candles might be creating an entirely new series of candles inspired by the world of Sanctuary. The official Diablo social media account recently shared a brief teaser showing a flickering candle burning accompanied by mysterious whispers, before the light fades to reveal both the Diablo 4 and Cantrip Candles logos. The video was captioned with "Mother Judges Us All," along with confirmation that more information about the collaboration will be revealed on May 8th at 4:00 PM CET.

What Will the Diablo 4 and Cantrip Candles Collaboration Bring?

Based on available information, this collaboration will likely take the form of Diablo 4-inspired scented candles. While scents like sweet rosemary and citrus in "Healing Potion," incense, ginger, and saffron in "Sanctuary," or extra-hot charred persimmon and chili peppers in "Hellscape" would perfectly complement Diablo 4, fans might also see candles directly inspired by in-game classes, iconic abilities, monsters, or even characters like Mephisto, Lilith, or the Lord of Terror himself, Diablo.

Although candles make up most of Cantrip Candles' offerings, the company produces other products as well. Their website features room sprays, wax melts, and special matchboxes. It's not difficult to imagine one of Neyrelle's Horadric chronicles, a Town Portal Scroll, or other iconic books from the Diablo series reimagined in these forms. Regardless, the collaboration will likely be limited to real-world products – while in-game cosmetic items inspired by Cantrip Candles could be added, players shouldn't set their expectations too high.

Diablo 4 x Berserk Crossover is Already Here

Fans hoping to collect cosmetic items from a collaboration right now are in luck. The Diablo 4 x Berserk crossover is officially live, giving players the chance to earn free in-game cosmetic items in exchange for Behelits, which can be obtained by defeating powerful enemies.

Alternatively, fans can visit Tejal's Shop and purchase various bundles, including Guts, Griffith, and Skull Knight transmog sets, the Warhorse of the Hawk Mount bundle, and the Schnoz Pet bundle. With Season 8 having recently arrived in Diablo 4 as well, players should have plenty of activities to keep them occupied while waiting for more information about the Cantrip Candles collaboration.

Personally, I'm curious to see how this collaboration turns out. Scented candles aren't typical gaming merchandise, but I must admit that a thematic scent inspired by Diablo's dark atmosphere could be an interesting addition to a gamer's den. And who knows, it might even come with some in-game bonus? In any case, if you love Diablo and care about the atmosphere of your gaming space, this could be an interesting opportunity.
